How did humans change their environment to suit their needs?
In 5000 B.C. Sumer formed the first towns and cities. They used irrigation systems.
How did people of this civilization interact with people from other civilizations?
They traded goods and they also fought with each other. They would also meet up in between their irrigations.

There were mountains that were in between civilizations and that made it hard for people to interact with people from different civilizations.

Good's and people were moved by carts, wagons,horses and donkeys because the people of mesopotamia invented the wheel and they domesticated animals. The technology they used stone tools and they learned how to domesticate animals.

What technological developments allowed them to change their environment?
The wheel on vehicles so they could travel easier or move things easier, first form of writing so they could send notes on clay or wright things down, a number system so people to compare to measure and to tell how much crops you need and if someone needed to known how many items they need to trade to get something they would need to know numbers or measurement, and sun dried bricks could help people build shelters.

How would someone describe the climate?

If someone living there would describe the climate and the geography of the area they would say it had city-states, mountains, water on each side, farms, and it was hot. The civilization was located between the Tigris and the Euphrates river next to the Mediterranean sea, the Persian Gulf, and the Nile River in the middle east. A lot of people came to this area because it had everything such as shelter, mountains, water and farms.
What push factors caused people to leave the area and move elsewhere?
Reasons people would leave mesopotamia are that there can be pests like locusts to drive people away and kill crops. Also there can be summer droughts and if a drought happens the people will starve because all the crops would get would be sunlight and no water. Also mountains can block villages from food.
