MESOPOTAMIA SOCIAL CLASSES
The social classes in Mesopotamia is very different from the social classes now. There were three different social classes. The highest class i the king, queen and their family, The middle class are people with steady jobs, and the lowest class are the slaves.
The education was split up by the the social classes. The highest class got the most education because they had the most money to pay for schooling. The middle class normally had enough education to live with but didn't have too much education. The lowest class rarely had education because they did not have any money to pay for schooling.
The men were normally the ones to earn the money for the family. Back then the women barely ever had jobs. It was the women who did the cooking, cleaning and sowing. That is a lot different from now because most women have jobs, as well as men.
